EDELWEISS RANCH belted galloway cattle STUD
the home of the sweet cow
Belted Galloways have thrived at Edelweiss Ranch since their introduction in 2006. The herd enjoys lush meadows and a sparkling creek that feeds the nearby Clarrie Hall Dam.
Peter and Sue Ellen have found the naturally calm nature of the breed to be a delight. They respond positively to daily human interactions on the ranch, and are sweet tempered and affectionate.
Herd numbers average between 60 – 70, which given the size of the property (close to 70 acres) is a testament to the exceptional quality of the Edelweiss pastures. The herd currently comprises one bull, around 30 cows and 35+ calves and yearlings.
